A native of Liberty, Indiana, 21 year-old Joey Frasur competes on the NTPA Grand National pulling circuit with his Super Modified 2-Wheel Drive truck. Since the beginning of his Rookie of the Year campaign in 2013, Joey has collected 14 wins including back-to-back championships at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky in 2014 and 2015. He began his partnership with Champion Spark Plugs through the 2015 Search for a Champion contest in which he was named a finalist. Joey carried the Champion logo on his truck throughout 2015 and picked up 9 wins on the year, the 2nd-most of any driver in his category. Joey pulls alongside his family and teammates at Petro Motorsports at all of the events. Ever since he was 10 years old, he travelled with the team and gradually picked up more responsibilities as he got older until receiving the chance to climb in the seat. Even after that, he keeps learning new things as he gets more experience and he considers himself a student of truck and tractor pulling. Joey Frasur is still looking for an NTPA Grand National championship to add to his resume, but he will be working hard in 2016 to cross that achievement off the list.
