New to Team Champion for the 2017 season, Kentucky teenager Blake Brown’s passion for racing began when he was just 3 days old. On the way home from the hospital Blake’s mother, Tammy, stopped at the local racetrack to watch Blake’s father while he was hot lapping, he’s been hooked ever since. 2009 marked the beginning of Blake’s racing career, where he participated in the mini cup class, 2014 marked the transition to Blake’s dirt racing and open wheel modified careers. 2016 was a big year for Blake, earning the track championship at Richmond Raceway. That year Blake scored 8 wins, had 12 finishes, 14 top five finishes, and 15 top ten finishes. 10 nights out he was the fastest qualifier, and Blake also set the current track record for quick time at Richmond that year. Outside of racing Blake maintains a 4.0 GPA while attending Whitley County High School, showing that he truly puts in the work on and off the track.
