Canada native, Parker Thompson got behind the wheel of his first kart at the age of 8, he has now traveled internationally and ranked Top 3 in the world. What started out as a pass time quickly became his passion. Being the first ever North American to make it to the podium, taking 3rd, in the Junior Rotax category at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Portimao, Portugal was the highlight of 2012. At 14, Parker left his family and friends when he moved to Italy to pursue racing in Europe full time with the Energy Corse Factory team, producing results yet to be seen by a North American competing at the world stage in Europe. 2016 marked the signing of a deal between Parker and championship winning Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing in USF2000 where he was crowned Vice Champion with four race wins and three poles in the USF2000 Championship. Parker also raced at the Formula Ford Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy in England after being chosen by the Team Canada Scholarship to represent his country. Currently 19 years old, Parker has signed with Canadian powerhouse team Exclusive Autosport in an effort to bring the 2017 USF2000 Championship back to Canada for the first time in history.
