Vintage Land Speed Racing

I joined the Champion family in 2014. My favorite part about racing is IS THE COMPETITION AND CAMARADERIE OF THE OTHER RACERS. My ultimate racing goal is TO SET MULTIPLE WORLD CLASS RECORDS IN BOTH SCRA AND ECTA SANCTIONING BODIES. Being on #TEAMCHAMPION is HELPED ME GET MY RACE PROGRAM TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

Biography

Dan Daughenbaugh has been a motorcycle enthusiast for as long as he can remember. His dream of setting a world land speed record in the Special Construction Vintage Fuel class was ignited in 2010, when he found a BSA motor that he knew he wanted to build his race bike around. In 2012 he made his first trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats to witness the races where he met, and made lasting friendships with, fellow vintage bike racers. He went back the following year, this time as Chief Mechanic of a crew. 2016 was a great year for the team clenching a total of 12 Land speed records by season's end. It also marked the first year competing in the AMA national dirt track series with a number of top finishes next season looks to be a promising one!
