I joined the Champion family in 2015. My favorite part about racing is WORKING TOGETHER WITH MY CREW EVERY WEEK TO ACCOMPLISH MY RACING GOALS. My ultimate racing goal is TO RACE PROFESSIONALLY IN NASCAR FOR HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS. Being on #TEAMCHAMPION is AN AWESOME HONOR AND I FEEL PRIVILEGED TO BE PART OF SUCH AN ICONIC BRANDS HISTORY.

Biography

Jason Alder lives in Cooksville, Maryland and started racing go-karts at the age of six. He had the privilege of learning to drive among multiple national champions at his local track which gave him national level competition on a weekly basis. 

In 2011, Jason started racing nationally in the WKA Gold Cup Series, where he scored a podium finish in the first national race entered. He finished 6th nationally in points his rookie year.

The following season Jason won two WKA national pole awards and finished in the top 5 in points. He also won the Most Improved Junior Driver award at Sandy Hook Speedway in Street, Maryland. 2013 was another year of growth as he won four WKA Gold Cup national features and two pole awards. He finished second in the points standings, and won the Maryland Speedway Series Sportsman 1 Lite Championship and the track championship at Sandy Hook Speedway.

During the 2014 season, Jason continued to improve at the national level. He clinched nine WKA Gold Cup national feature wins and an astounding 12 pole awards. He won the WKA RLV Gold Cup Series Sportsman Animal Alcohol National Championship, WKA Maryland Sprint Divisional Sportsman Lite Championship, WKA Maryland Sprint Divisional Sportsman Animal Alcohol Championship and the Sandy Hook Speedway Track Championship.

In 2015, Jason moved up into the WKA Junior ranks. At the national level, he was the youngest driver in the field and boasted eight feature wins (most of all drivers) and six poles. He clinched the WKA Junior Pro Gas Lite National Championship and was a Grand National Champion in the same class. Jason won 18 features and 13 poles on the season.

The 2016 season, Jason moved on from the karting world and raced full time in a Bandolero.  He raced in the INEX Winter Heat Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway where he earned two pole awards and one feature win in the seven race series.  He also competed in an INEX series hosted by Shenandoah Speedway where he won four features and six poles out of 12 races.  He won the 2016 Shenandoah Speedway Bandolero Track Championship and the INEX Maryland State Bandolero Championship.    

The 2017 racing season will bring significant changes as Jason will no longer be racing a Bandolero but will be racing a Legend race car for the full season in INEX sanctioned events.

Jason's career goals include competing in the Sprint Cup Series in NASCAR. During the 2017 racing season, Jason will turn 14 years old. Off the track, Jason is actively involved in Boy Scouts where he is currently a Life Scout and hopes to achieve the rank of Eagle in 2018.
