Biography

Cole Glasson is a 16-year-old NASCAR Whelen All American Series Driver of the #12 Late Model. Cole has been racing since the age of 5 years old. He progressed through karting in National Series of KART, IKF, WKA, SKUSA, Florida Winter Tour, and Rotax. In karting, he won three national championships and two vice-championships and collected two Duffy Trophies. At the age of 11, he made a move into Asphalt Midgets for USAC driving for Ron Sutton’s team on the West Coast before moving to JEGS / CRA series at the age of 12 running late models. In 2014 and 2015, he ran two full seasons of Southeast Super Trucks where he made 28 starts, two pole awards, one win, 15 top five finishes and 22 top 10 finishes.

He was runner-up to Rookie of the Year in 2014 (fifth overall in the Championship) before following up 2015 with runner-up honors in the championship. He made one late model stock car appearance in 2015 at the end of the season at Myrtle Beach Speedway where he won on the same weekend he won his first Southeast Super truck race. In 2016, he made 19 starts in the NASCAR Late Model achieving two poles, 1 win, 12 top 5's and 17 top 10's. He also won Runner Up Rookie of the Year at three tracks and for the State of SC and won UNOH Youth Achievement Award at two tracks. In 2017, he will be driving the Lee Faulk Racing owned NASCAR Late Model Stock in the Whelen All-American Series throughout tracks in NC and SC.
