Kodie Conner

Super Late Model

Biography

Kodie Conner isn't your average teenager. This honor role student from Kannapolis, NC, has lived life in the fast lane since he was five years old. In 2006, Kodie decided to follow in the footsteps of his father, uncle and grandfather when he climbed behind the wheel of his first racecar. In his first competitive season of quarter midget racing, he won four races in 26 starts while setting a track record, five fast times and completing the season with 12 top-three finishes. Over the next two seasons, Kodie racked up 48 victories and 20 fast times including nine track records. He also won a total of five championships over two years.

In 2009, Kodie graduated to the ultra-competitive INEX Bandolero division where he immediately picked up 13 victories and the Concord (NC) Speedway Beginner Bandits Championship despite racing half of the season with a broken right arm. Kodie continued in Bandolero competition through 2012 and highlights included capturing the Mid-Week Mayhem Championship in Concord, two Bojangle's Summer Shootout triumphs and a top-three ranking at Charlotte Motor Speedway, along with a victory at the legendary Hickory (NC) Motor Speedway in his first attempt at the track. Other notable accomplishments included a runner-up finish in national INEX Bandolero division points and the Summer Shootout, plus championships at the Auburndale Winter Nationals, Rockingham Speedway and Concord Speedway.

Kodie stepped up to full-size stock car racing in 2013 when he competed in a pro late model under the Pro All Stars Series, where he finished fourth in points. A year later, he made his super late model debut at Hickory Motor Speedway where he qualified 12th and finished 4th. One year later, he captured the PASS Pro Late Model championship before moving up to super late model competition full-time in 2016.

Last year, he finished 2nd in final PASS South Super Late Model Points and had his career best Super Late Model finish of 2nd at Dillon Motor Speedway. 2016 marked first time Kodie competed at the Oxford 250. He's looking forward to being part of #TeamChampion in 2017!
