AJ Flick

Biography

AJ Flick is a third generation championship driver from Pennsylvania. He began racing go-karts at 5 years old, where he earned three championships. AJ moved into Street Stocks at 17, using a car he designed and built from scratch the previous winter. His only spares were two tires borrowed from another competitor. His goal was to bring the car home in one piece each night, in order to continue racing. AJ won races and gained overwhelming respect from fans and competitors for his determination, driving style and work ethic.

In 2014, AJ took a huge step by moving into the 410 Sprint Car division. With no experience in the division, he had a true rookie season. It was so successful that AJ became 1 of only 3 drivers to be nominated for the National 410 Sprint Car Rookie of the Year Award presented by the Knoxville Speedway Hall of Fame. Then, in just his 2nd season of racing sprint cars, he became the 2015 Lernerville Speedway 410 Sprint Car Champion.

AJ was a co-creator for the Pave the Clay charity event to benefit the Steve King Foundation and the Injured Drivers Fund. In only his second annual running of this event, he raised over $1700 for hurt and injured drivers across the nation. AJ is beyond excited to be a part of the prestigious #TeamChampion and promises to represent himself in a professional manner, on and off the speedway and looks forward to representing #TeamChampion at every race in the 2016 season.

His first season as part of #TeamChampion brought five wins and a lot of knowledge. With assistance from Champion, his team was able to travel East and race more against the PA Posse. The experience he gained in that area proved to be worthwhile as AJ became a dominant force in the local region. AJ's 2017 plans will be much of the same thing as he continues to improve by racing against the Allstar Circuit of Champions, World of Outlaws, and the PA Posse. AJ will focus on trying to secure his 2nd championship in only 4 years, and will work hard at increasing win totals.
