Biography

Justin Hutto is an 18-year-old drag racer from Houston, TX. From childhood, he was around racecars as his father and grandfather raced in the NHRA and IHRA. Winners circle pictures were the expectation when Justin went to races with his father. His father continues his winning ways today with his most recent title being the 2014 IHRA Stock Eliminator World Championship.

In 2008, Justin began racing in a Jr. Dragster and made final round appearances in his first few races. Throughout the early years of his racing career, Justin continued to have mild success though he raced on a limited schedule. A few years later (2013), Justin decided that he wanted to win with more consistency and put in the work to make sure that happened. That year, Justin won three races, made it to six final rounds, won his first series championship and earned the Most Improved Driver award. The following year (2014) Justin won six races, won his second track championship, earned a series runner- up finish, won the IHRA Division 4 Championship and qualified for the IHRA World Finals.

In 2015, Justin was given the opportunity in a Stock Eliminator along with his Jr. Dragster. That year, he won seven races including a double up win in both Stock and Jr. Dragster. In 2015, he also earned a track runner-up finish, finished third in IHRA Division 4 Jr. Dragster points and fourth in IHRA Division 4 Stock Eliminator points. This year, he has been given the chance to drive another car (three total) and has entered three races resulting in a runner-up, a quarterfinal and a semifinal. 

In 2017, he'll be competing in a 1969 Corvette with NHRA's Stock Eliminator class at events across the country. Justin has amassed great success in his career with 32 final round appearances, 17 wins and three championships within the past four years.
