Coming into the 2018 season and his second year as a Team Champion member, Kentucky teenager Blake Brown's passion for racing began we he was just 3 days old. On the way home from the hospital Blake's mother, Tammy, stopped at the local racetrack to watch Blake's father while he was hot lapping for an upcoming race, he's been hooked since. 2009 marked the beginning of Blake's racing career, where he participated in the mini cup division. 2014 then marked the transition to Blake's dirt track racing and UMP Modified career. After many successful years, 2017 has definitely set the bar high. Blake managed to pick up 11 wins in only 35 starts, as well as earning the track championship at Ponderosa Speedway and finishing 2nd in the Brucebuilt Performance Ironman Modified Series points. Blake also holds the track record at Richmond Raceway (KY). Outside of racing, Blake maintains a 4.0 GPA while attending Whitley County High School, showing that he truly puts in the work on and off the track.
